About Azulina
Tiles are an integral part of Portuguese tradition, but sadly their use has been declining quickly over the years. Pastilha tiles in particular are now only made by machine, and the handmade method is disappearing.
At Azulina we set out to revive the use of handmade pastilha tiles. We have a large quantity and variety of tiles, sold loose or, if you prefer, as panels ready to fix to the wall in the pattern of your choice.
Besides pastilha tiles, we now also carry a wide range of tiles and mosaics for new builds and restorations.

Our story
Our tiles were made at the old Decormel factory in Caxarias, which closed more than 30 years ago.
Tonnes of unsold tiles sat forgotten in the factory all that time. We acquired them to rescue them and share them with the world.
Today those tiles are only part of what we offer. Over the years we have added tiles, mosaic, terracotta and reclaimed building materials, for new builds and restorations alike.
